It’s 1982 , Greg and Tony live in Kentish Town. They’ve been together 5 years and seem to have the perfect relationship and have love all figured out. They're in a committed relationship, but with room for a little sex-on the-side whenever it takes their fancy. Their only rule? Never sleep with the same man twice. When drop-dead gorgeous cleaner Robert walks into their lives, the fragile foundations of their sexual contract are thrown into jeopardy. Funny, fresh and packed with razor sharp wit, Kevin Elyot's landmark drama questions the nature of fidelity and the limits of love.
Written 12 years before his most famous play, My Night With Reg, Coming Clean won Elyot the Samuel Beckett Award for writers showing particular promise in the field of the performing arts.
Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company announces its schedule of extensive programming surrounding the World Premiere of Bootycandy, written and directed by 2010 Helen Hayes Award winner Robert O'Hara (Antebellum).

Growing up as the daughter of one of the most iconic comediennes of all time could not have been easy, yet Melissa Rivers has managed to carve her own place in the Hollywood landscape as a producer and television personality herself, coming after nearly a decade of co-hosting the red carpet fashion rundowns on E! and the TV GUIDE channel with her mother Joan. Her (mostly) behind-the-scenes work as a producer on E!'s weekly FASHION POLICE show starring Joan is just half of her duties, as she also stars in and produces the new WE reality series JOAN & MELISSA: JOAN KNOWS BEST? Also, she manages to find the time to be a single mom and confidant to her legendary mother - and clean up after camera crews. I was lucky enough to speak to Melissa over the weekend in anticipation of tonight's special edition FASHION POLICE: SCREEN ACTORS GUILD AWARDS on E! and Tuesday's JOAN KNOWS BEST? on WE. Also, be sure to check out my weekend feature interview with Joan Rivers, as well.

An intelligently imaginative turn, Jeffrey Solomon's one-man play Santa Claus Is Coming Out @ the Diversionary in San Diego may cause controversy among conservatives but is certainly a milestone in the acceptance of gay rights. Gay bashing is not a new issue in schools; in fact, Solomon first presented this piece in Chicago in 2001 as a protest to the manner in which the educational system has been dealing with young gay students. They deserve to be treated as human beings and accepted for who they are. And who knows for sure whether great icons like Santa, a pegan outcast in Christian philosophy, wasn't homosexual as well?

Today we are talking to the talented and visionary directors of the new Disney Digital 3D animated feature film musical adventure TANGLED, Nathan Greno and Byron Howard. In this informative conversation, we discuss their affection for animation and what the two-year-plus process of creating this film has been like coming after the resounding success of BOLT! Plus, a thorough discussion of the story, structure, style and characterizations brought to the film thanks to the vocal talents - musical and otherwise - of Mandy Moore, Zachary Levi and Donna Murphy. TANGLED will be released in movie theaters nationwide on November 24th so be sure you don't miss the newest animated musical film - one with a score by five-time Oscar-winner Alan Menken and lyrics by David Zippel - being added to the classic, iconic, Disney canon.
Perhaps it's a sign of economic hardship continuing to plague Off-Broadway that not one drop of V-8 Vegetable Juice Cocktail is poured over the leading lady's head, nor is even one slice of watermelon smacked onto an actor's skull in Ivo van Hove's deliciously stark and chilly interpretation of Lillian Hellman's classic 1939 melodrama, The Little Foxes. The director whose proclivity for covering characters in chocolate sauce and ketchup must have done a number on the dry-cleaning budgets for New York Theatre Workshop's productions of Hedda Gabler and The Misanthrope, comes clean in this one, but don't be foolhardy enough to expect anything near a traditional mounting of this tale of greed and gender politics among the siblings of an aristocratic Southern family.
Coming off of a streak of some of the most successful seasons to date, Theatre at the Center Artistic Director William Pullinsi, announces their 2011 season.
