Macbeth, Jamie Lloyd's inaugural production in a season of work for Trafalgar Transformed, will be staged at Trafalgar Studios from 9 February until 27 April, with press night on 22 February 2013. Design for Jamie Lloyd's season is by Soutra Gilmour, who won the 2012 Evening Standard Award for Best Design for Inadmissible Evidence at the Donmar Warehouse, directed by Lloyd, and Antigone at the National Theatre.

In 2011 Nice Swan Theatre Company thrilled audiences and reviewers alike with their 'unique and innovative twist' on Shakespeare's As You Like It. Set in Newcastle's Bigg Market, it certainly defied convention. This February they return to the challenge that is Shakespeare once more but this is a wholly different beast: a classical interpretation of the Bard's shortest yet bloodiest tragedy Macbeth, a play so dark that it is even reputed to be cursed. Redd Tale Theatre Company dives into its seventh season with the classic MACBETH by William Shakespeare and a new adaptation of the French classic THE TRIUMPH OF LOVE by Will Le Vasseur. Both are directed by Artistic Director, Will Le Vasseur. Opening Nights are August 5th and 6th.
