Faux Real Release New Single 'Love On The Ground' Ahead of Debut Album
by Josh Sharpe - Apr 29, 2024
Visionary art-pop duo Faux Real are back with a bang with their playfully absurd, tragically human new single, “Love On The Ground.' Fusing ecological concern with adulterous existentialism, “Love On The Ground” finds the duo – a.k.a. Los Angeles-based Franco-American brothers Virgil and Elliott Arndt – at their most vulnerable and surreal thus far, this time bringing aspects of their genre-bending and gravity-defying live shows to the table in the form of soaring harmonies, off-the-wall lyricism, and offbeat melodrama. Listen to the single here!

On the heels of the mini-musicals found at Disneyland Paris comes the first ever musical theater style live entertainment from its main European competitor in France (and Europe) Parc Astérix, inspired by the stories of the famous comic book series Asterix by René Goscinny and Albert Uderzo. This theme park offers a variety of attractions and shows based on historical periods from the world of Asterix and his friends, whimsically celebrating Gaulish culture with over 50 attractions and shows, including roller coasters, water rides, and live performances. Review: A Breathtaking, Poignant Lens Shines On GIRL FROM THE NORTH COUNTRY at Straz Center
by Drew Eberhard - Mar 28, 2024
“Tonight’s story begins and ends at a guesthouse in Duluth, Minnesota, in the winter of 1934.” These were the opening words spoken by Dr. Walker, as he sets the scene. An evening of love, pain, suffering, interloped with a lush score based on the music of Bob Dylan.
Girl from the North Country, is a dramatic musical with a book by Conor McPherson (The Weir), and songs with music and lyrics by the great Bob Dylan. The show made its Off-Broadway premiere at the Public Theatre from September 30, 2018- December 22, 2018. This transfer featured an all-American cast and was helmed after the successful run at London’s Old Vic a year prior, and following a limited 12-week run shortly thereafter at the Noel Coward Theatre in London’s West End.
