Earlier tonight at the 76th Annual Tony Awards, Casey Nicholaw took home a Tony Award for 'Best Choreography' for his outstanding work on Some Like It Hot (currently running at the Shubert Theatre). After leaving the stage at the United Palace, Casey checked it with BroadwayWorld's Richard Ridge to share his initial reaction!

In 2011, Casey Nicholaw picked up a win for Best Director of a Musical for the international mega-hit, The Book of Mormon. This year, Casey is once again nominated for his directing duties on The Prom.

SHN: Broadway in San Francisco shared a video on Twitter yesterday that depicted a timelapse of the San Francisco company of The Book of Mormon loading in. The video shows the crew piecing together the set and allows fans to get a glimpse of how their favorite show is created.

Since opening at Broadway's Eugene O'Neill Theatre in March 2011, The Book of Mormon musical has taken the modern musical theatre world by storm. Conceived by Trey Parker,Robert Lopez andMatt Stone whilst working on the successful TV series 'South Park', the show came from modest beginnings to be one of the most popular Broadway shows of the past decade. The Broadway production just reached a significant milestone- 1500 performances on Broadway. To celebrate the special event, BroadwayWorld brings you a video flashback featuring some of the show's big performances from the past three years!

On Broadway, The Book of Mormon has broken the Eugene O'Neill Theatre's house record 44 times. The National Tour of The Book of Mormon has continually broken house records across the country since opening in Denver in the summer of 2012. The Chicago production of The Book of Mormon holds the house record at the Bank of America Theatre. The show just released a new promo featuring creators Try Parker and Matt Stone and you can check it out below!
